About Kindermusik of Indianapolis
Kindermusik of Indianapolis is a fully licensed, fully insured premier early childhood music education service for the south and east side of Indianapolis. Founded in 1999, Kindermusik of Indianapolis has brought quality music instruction to children from birth to school age. The teachers are passionate about music advocacy and education and both have strong music backgrounds.
Jody Wyss-Treadwell, Owner/Teacher
Jody Wyss-Treadwell holds a B.A. in Music Education and Music Therapy from Mount St. Joseph University and a Masters in Music Education from Butler University. She also has completed Orff-Schulwerk Levels I and II. She has taught all levels and all curriculum in the Kindermusik program since 1999. She is the owner of Kindermusik of Indianapolis. Kindermusik of Indianapolis has been a Top Performing Program in 2022 and again in 2025 awarded by Kindermusik International.
She has been awarded the Elementary Music Educator of the year by the Indiana Music Educators Association and was nominated for the Disney Teacher of the Year. Jody taught in the urban school system for 35 years and continues to teach in both urban and suburban schools as a guest music teacher. She has also presented at IMEA and NAfME (National Association for Music Education) several times.
In addition to teaching Kindermusik classes for the past 28 years, Jody also teaches private lessons for children at the beginning entry levels for piano and voice lessons as well as recorder.

Claire Jackson Roberts, Teacher
Claire is an educator with Kindermusik of Indianapolis and is fully licensed and accredited in all levels of curriculum from Kindermusik International. With a deep passion for music and child development, Claire brings warmth, energy, and expertise to every class she teaches.
Claire is a mother of five, a Theology Major, a Third-Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, and a Tai Chi instructor through Taijidowkwan. Her unique set of interests blends to create a uniquely holistic teaching style--balancing structure with joy, and discipline with creativity. Known for her kindness, sense of humor, and genuine care for families, Claire is dedicated to helping children grow through the power of music, movement, and meaningful connection.

Tiffany Pao, Teacher
Tiffany Pao is a Taiwanese-American music educator who specializes in early childhood and elementary music education. She received her B.A. in Music from Duke University, M.M. in Piano Performance from Washington University in St. Louis, and M.S. in Music Education from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
Tiffany currently teaches private piano lessons in her home studio, and prior to Kindermusik, she taught K-6 general music for four years at W.D. Richards Elementary in Columbus, Indiana. She strives to teach with joy, patience, and empathy toward all of her students.
Tiffany lives with her husband, daughter, and little rescue pup in south Indianapolis. She is thrilled to be teaching Kindermusik and hopes to see you in one of her classes soon!
